Pleasantries

Let me introduce you to two bands which hope to be apart of your life.

karenjane
Simply the neurosis of Karen Foote's brain, tamed. A singer/songwriter from Washington DC. She brings to the music world genre bleeding compositions. She dabbles in everything from folk to electronic to spoken word. Just a few of her influences include: Ani Difranco, Mr. Mraz, and Radiohead.

For Science
for - [fawr]
with the object or purpose of: to run for exercise.
intended to belong to, or be used in connection with

science - [sahy-uhns]
systematic knowledge of the physical or material world gained through observation and experimentation.

Some of you out there believe the name of this band came from one of the member's current employer. However, let me be the authority and say that is not true. The name comes from the great show MythBusters. On one episode Adam and Jamie are using weather balloons for an experiment. When Adam releases one balloon he shouts out "FOR SCIENCE!". This simply was a really cool and geeky moment in history and thus the band is named for it.

For Science is the electronic off shoot of karenjane. With For Science you will get the "beep-bo-beep" and a lot of well thought out lyrics.
